Wake Up And Smell The Mocha

Yep, we're brainwashing them young. The boys recognize Starbucks and Lil' Spitfire requests it. Last week we dropped brother off at school and headed over for a morning mocha. Ok, his is just chocolate milk but it's in that adorable tiny cup, it's hard to tell it's tiny because he is too! I think the reason he likes it so much is it's all about him and being a big kid. It was a fantastic morning.

Proudly Serving My Corporate Masters

I love my coffee mugs and my newest is no exception. Ah, funny. Extra funny because I don't at all serve a corporate master. I did at one time work as a graphic designer and had a cubicle, but it was the prettiest cubicle I've ever seen and I certainly never felt like a slave, I actually liked my job. Now I'm a full-time mom and a craft nerd. My youth director husband, also not serving a corporate master. Our lives are pretty sweet!

Favorite Things: My Beloved Coffee Mug

This coffee cup is one of my most favorite possessions, drinking out of it makes me just a smidge happier than when I drink from any other. I like it so much because it encompasses several things that I really love all in one mundane, functional, common item: coffee, art, signatures, the color black, and Chicago.
